Receiving Inspector
We are currently looking for qualified candidates with a background doing inspections with electronics and electrical components. Strong candidates will have some sort of background doing hands on electrical inspection.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate electrical and electronic components and assemblies at Receiving Inspection
- Duties include the following:
1. Use test and measurement equipment to evaluate purchased electrical and electronic components and assemblies
2. Use basic measuring equipment such as plug gauges, micrometers, and calipers to verify dimensional characteristics
3. Verify adequate supplier packaging of components and documentation
4. Develop test and inspection requirements for new components and assemblies.
5. Document and process rejected material
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or other technical degree in electronics/electrical field
- PC and database skills. Use of electrical and electronic component test equipment and mechanical measurement equipment
- Detailed oriented
- J-Std inspection and/or solder experience preferred
